Welcome to the Oneonta High School Library website! My name is Maggie Battles and I am the media specialist for Oneonta High School. I am very excited to be in the high school library. My goal is to make the library a welcoming, resource-rich environment for teachers and students. In addition to being the media specialist for OHS, I am also the yearbook advisor. Each year I have more fun working with students to create the yearbook as we strive to make each book better than the last! After graduating from Oneonta High School in 2004, I attended The University of Alabama where I got my degree in Elementary Education. I got my master's in Library Media from The University of West Alabama. I taught 4th grade at Hayden Elementary for four years and 5th grade at Oneonta Elementary for six years. In 2019, I became the High School librarian. I love working with the staff and students at Oneonta! I have two daughters who also attend Oneonta City Schools. We love our school and our community. GO REDSKINS!
